Community Concepts (CCI) is a Community Action Agency and a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that has been supporting residents in Androscoggin, Oxford and Franklin counties since 1965. CCI helps more than 14,000 people every year through dozens of diverse programs.
Your donation helps us fulfill our mission to strengthen individuals, families and communities in western Maine by providing diverse programs, engaging in strategic partnerships and through advocacy that addresses the barriers to promote economic opportunities for all.
$3.2 million distributed in HEAP benefits to 7,075 eligible households.
525 children served by our Head Start, Early Head Start, and Childcare Programs.
3,292 home visits by Maine Families staff with 323 families enrolled.
2024 Community Impact
More than 440 individuals supported by the Maine Resiliency Center.
$1.2 million lent to small businesses by Community Concepts Finance Corporation.
1,162 people served by Oxford County Mental Health Services.

On April 7, 2020, the world lost a dedicated public servant, Paul Gauvreau. Because of Paul’s passion and dedication to the community, Community Concepts has teamed up with the Gauvreau family to create the Paul Gauvreau Legacy Fund.
